Radar
and Lidar jammers are devices that render revenue-generating
speedtraps obsolete by making vehicles electronically
invisible to police radar.
Radar
Jammer work by mixing a portion of the radar signal
with background clutter, then reflecting it back to
the squad car with a special antenna.
This
technique, pioneered by Rocky Mountain Radar,
creates an unreadable signal that confuses the computer
inside the radar gun.
The
laser jammer works in a similar manner. It confuses
the computer inside the laser gun by transmitting
a specially modulated infrared beam with information
designed to scramble the laser signal.
The
result, Police radar and laser readouts remain
blank. As far as the police officer is concerned,
it's as if your vehicle is not even on the road.
